~The Send-off~

One big decision for a bride planning her wedding is what to do for the send off.
Rice is old school (and bad for birds!)

One idea that I love lately is the ribbon wand.

Easy clean up.
Affordable.
Cute in photos.
A great way to tie in your wedding colors.

I am a fan!

Want to make them?

What do you think,
are you a ribbon wand send off fan?
I am making some for one of my weddings in July . . . for 300 people! Yikes.

Enjoy your day lovies!

~Seattle Wedding Locations: Kerry Park~

Seattle has so many beautiful outdoor wedding venues.
(just make sure it doesn't rain on your special day-even if it means good luck right?)

How sweet would this view be on your wedding day?
With the Seattle skyline as your back drop?

Yup that is where one of my engaged couples will be having their ceremony in July.
Congrats Megan and Justin!

I can't wait to see their photos . . .

There are so many fun photo op spots right around the park as well.

Can't wait!

~Beautiful Blush to start your week~

Hello everyone, and happy Monday!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

Here's a sweet photo for you today . . .
Such a great photo!
I love the beautiful soft bridesmaid dresses.  The matching shoes, and the mismatching hangers.
So soft and pretty.
Hope your week is off to a good start!

(We had a gorgeous wedding we attended and helped with at Broadmore in Seattle on Saturday, photos soon)

~Drink Up!~

I love this look:
The cute milk bottles
The striped straws
The cute label

I actually love it so much that I recreated this look at a
baby shower
I hosted last weekend!!!

Where do you find these bottles?

I enjoyed some nice coffee . . . and saved the bottles for party decor.
It's a win win!

Oh yes and do not forget those straws!
These wonderful items can be found in many shops on Etsy, my favorite is: Hey Yo Yo

Cute right?

~Wedding Reception Menu Sign on Wood!~

Hello my blog dearies! Sorry for the MIA blog posts. The hubby and I took a much needed and amazing 4th honeymoon (lol) to Europe! We saw a smidge of England, Norway, France, Ireland and Scotland. We had SUCH an amazing time, and there is just something about being away from work, cell phones, internet, and daily duties that soothes a relationship.  I mean we had 14 days of non stop us time.  I think the longest we were alone was when I went to buy a coffee for about 10 minutes tops. Oh I so love my hubby!!!

While I was away on the long flights, train rides, days at sea, etc. I got a lot of pondering, thinking and thought organizing done.  Don't you just love this when you go away?! Now I am refreshed and energized, and I have a lot of things I want to do on this little blog . . . so stay tuned!

For today I wanted to share this amazing menu I found on Pinterest by Style me Pretty

I love the rustic vibe although it still is classy and fun. LOVE!
. . .
Although we had SUCH a great trip (and I will share a ton of our photos on my personal blog soon), it is so nice to be back home with our dogs, our garden, and my blogging!

Have I missed anything big?
Hope everyone is doing well!!!

~Reception Seating Idea~

How cute is this idea?
Add vintage flair to your wedding reception, and skip the need for escort cards!
Adds a fun decor element to the wedding as well.
Just make sure you know someone with really nice handwriting!

I hope you are all having a great, sunny week.

~Monogrammed Mini Cakes!~

Yes . . . this would be really expensive to have for guests at a wedding.
Nonetheless I love it.

Whether for a party, a wedding, favors, etc. how adorable would this be?!

Next time I host a party I want to make mini monogrammed cakes for my guests . . . maybe a brunch with just a few of my girls.

I saw a tutorial from Pinterest on an easy way to create the texture:

Would you like a mini monogrammed cake as a guest?
I would!!!

~Ombre Elegance~

I've seen some fun pink ombre patterns for weddings, but check this out!

That cake is divine!
I have to admit I am a huge color lover, but this is just simple and pretty.
I have to realize not all of my brides will be into bright colors, so here is a great example of fun, ruffly, girly yet classy.

Another shot from this photoshoot that I love:

How fun is that frilly chair cover?! Ooooooh love.

Are you a color fan, or do you like simple elegance?

~Recent Wedding Love: Long Banquet Reception Tables~

I am helping one of my besties decorate her reception.  The venue has long rectangle tables, so we are so doing this! LOVE it!
The closer proximity to others creates more interaction, and a more relaxed setting.

I can't wait to make table runners, and have a ton of fun silver candles holders, flowers with vases, and wine bottles down the middle of the tables.

Have you been to a wedding with banquet seating?
What do you think?

Enjoy your weekend my blogettes!
I hope you all have something fun planned :-)

~Invitation Swoooon~

Oh I so love this invitation set by Ceci Wedding

And what a fun color palette to work with?!
So pretty and intricate.
I have several brides that are using this shade of fuschia . . . but not with teal, love!!!

What do you think?
