~Joyce and Justin Hotel Bellevue Wedding by Jenny GG Photography~

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

Lazy rainy day over here, which means catching up on cuddles and blogging!

This wedding here has been on my list to blog for a WHILE! I always want to word things perfectly and amazingly enough to paint the picture of how truly spectacular and meaningful and full of love these weddings are.  I sometimes feel like I don't convey the true feelings of the weddings well enough. This is one of those weddings that I know no matter what I write, it won't show things the way I want to, the way I saw them that day! BUT that's ok, I will do my best!

{Joyce & Justin}
Hotel Bellevue
7.7.12

(Isn't her dress stunning?!)
This wedding was just so full of a sense of family love.  Everyone was so sweet, helpful, supportive and it just felt like you were part of a big family here. I don't think I have felt this much closeness of a whole group at another wedding.

Meet Justin and his friends.  They are hilarious.
Now meet the gorgeous and sweet Joyce . . .

who is beautiful inside and out.

(hair and makeup by Urbanista Weddings)
One of my favorite pictures of the girls, so much fun!

Ok so as I wedding planner/coordinator I have many favorite moments in a wedding, and the first look is def up there! SUCH an exciting yet sweet moment on one of the biggest days of their lives:)

(these adorable bouquets were made by Yours Truly Floral, actually a good friend of Joyce's!)
Joyce and Justin were engaged in Hawaii, also many of their family and friends are from Hawaii.  It was only fitting to have the boys show their "shaka"!

(The ceremony music was played by Seattle Style Strings)
I LOVE to see the face of the groom as he watches his soon to be wife walk down the aisle to him . . . priceless!

And . . . they were married!!!

A few of the beautiful details of the wedding . . . the lovely monogrammed cake by Cakes by Creme de la Creme . . . the invitation made by Joyce's aunt . . . the favor boxes . . . and the stunning centerpieces.

Now . . . time to celebrate!!!

This Filipino/Hawaiian wedding was just SO full of family and love.  You could tell this from the many performances by family and friends, from the many people involved in the ceremony (including many family members and sponsors), and from the tears in the room (including mine!) while playing the "same day edit" video during the reception
(put together by Bogle Productions)
The performances were amazing! The songs, the dancing . . . there were even some little kids doing a little "rap" about God! It was just so fun to watch!
Then of course you have the money dance!
And some more dancing . . . event he grandma was out on the dance floor!

And then before you knew it the night was over . . . and Justin and Joyce were starting their journey as husband and wife . . .

One moment I will never forget, as we all were cleaning up after the amazing fete, a few of the bridesmaids and family were out on the piano in the lobby playing "Amazing Grace" and singing along. This moment summed up the wedding for me, it was a moment . . . just SO full of love and pure beauty.  For me it is not the big things, but it is in these small moments that make great weddings!

A HUGE congrats to Joyce and Justin . . . thanks for allowing me to be such a part of your big day:) Best wishes on an AMAZING marriage for you both!

~Awww sweet review from my bride, love!~

Awwww! I got this amazing view from my dear friend and recent bride Piyali.

Piyali and Jon's wedding was just simply AMAZING a few weeks ago!

Can't wait to share photos and stories with all of you.

Thanks love!

"Ladies, look no further...hire this woman!!! As soon as I got engaged, I was certain that I wanted to design my wedding myself but wanted someone there to coordinate everything to make sure it all came together on the day-of. I researched pretty much every well-rated day-of coordinator in Seattle and ended up choosing Tamara because not only did she already have stellar reviews and offered so much for her day-of package, she was incredibly sweet and friendly and amazingly affordable and I knew she would be perfect! I'm a super organized, detail-oriented person and I had always assumed hiring a coordinator for wedding day would just be back up. Boy, was I wrong! It wasn't until wedding day that I realized how totally crazy things were going to get. Even with my obsessive planning, many things had to be changed or dealt with on the day of and many people had to be herded and I truly don't know what I would've done without someone there like Tamara who knew exactly what I wanted, down to the last detail and executed flawlessly so I could focus on my day, my groom, and have tons of fun. I almost forgot there were so many details I wanted coordinated perfectly until I saw everything done, perfectly, from the timing of things to decor items, to bridal party and family. Who would have kept everything on the planned timeline? Who would have laid out all the decor items exactly where I wanted them? Who would have fixed my veil every time it fell out and no one was around who knew how to put it back in? Who would have told bridal party where to go, stand, and cue them? I have no idea, but Tamara was absolutely perfect in executing my vision. My husband Jon and I were totally thrilled with her and can look back at our wedding day as perfect. Thank you!!!! :)"

Lucky girl over here! Thanks Piyali:)

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

~Enchanted Mint and Gold Styled Shoot . . . Part 1~

I was SO beyond excited to have our shoot featured on 100 Layer Cake a couple weeks ago!!!
If you missed it, check it out here.

Now on to the details of the shoot.  I broke this up into a few different posts, there are just WAY too many fun photos to share.
Big shout out to Aly from La Luz Photography for the amazing images!!!

The venue Hollywood Schoolhouse was perfect for the shoot! This 100 year old historical building in Woodinville, WA has so much charm. My inspiration for the shoot was:
gold, glitter (surprised?! Nope), mint green, enchanted, fruit, whimsical, herringbone and arrows, etc etc.  I just wanted something super girly and pretty, like a fairy tale :) You can see the Pinspiration board here.

This blog post is all about the bridal shots, dress shots (Thanks Luly Yang Couture!) and hair/makeup.  Yessie is AMAZING (Yessie Makeup Artistry).  LOVE her, check out her skills:

(Vintage Ambiance has such great items! LOVE this small gold jewelry box and the clock)
Some jewelry I had lying around, mostly from Forever 21 believe it or not! This shoot is all about the gold.

Aren't these chandeliers gorg?!
Also this dress, love the dual tones underneath the tulle on the dress:)
Shoes: Steve Madden!
Yessie did the messy enchanted look so well here in this next shot!
The blush pink shimmer ruffle gown is uhhhhh-mazing as well:)

Look at the details in the floral applique top!

 The shoes:
Glitter Gold of course!
Look at all of that tulle in the dress! So romantic and girly!

Next up: The Tablescape!
