I can't tell you how excited I am to share this wedding with all of you!
I mean this couple is adorable and majorly in love, you can just see it:)
I am simply proud to be a part of such a fun, loving, full of life wedding. ALSO I am proud to say that I have made some great friends. Can't wait to visit Vancouver to see these two!
The weather up until the wedding had been unseasonably warm. Then came the wedding day . . . and the rain. This rain didn't stop an amazing wedding, it just changed the plans a little. Isn't a little rain on your wedding day good luck anyway?
Semaihmoo Resort is a stunning golf course and resort right on a peninsula on the tip of Washington and Canada. I LOVED the old barn!
The bride, Jenny is just gorgeous and super sweet! Also she has great style, I mean check out her shoes!
AND her two dresses
The girls had fun with their mustache straws while getting ready
Then there is Ali, who is equally stylish and fashionable. They make such a great pair!
How fun are those socks?!
Both love birds moments before the wedding ceremony . . .
A special moment with her father . . .
Originally the ceremony was going to be outside on the dock, but the rain changed our plans. We had it under the chic tent, right in front of the head table. Ali brought a Persian rug for them to get married on, one that was in his family:)
The dessert table
See the look on his face?! That's love
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Bzorgzad!
The rain let up for just enough time for everyone to get some photos in around the resort.
LOVE this shot:
Another fave: (ok I have a lot of faves, can you blame me?!)
Walking out to where the ceremony was going to be . . .
YAYYYYY!
Now Jenny had planned her wedding amazingly well, she did so much by herself and designed things perfectly. She does have great taste! I loved her programs:
Her straws with their initials on them in hearts
The treats and candy bar were a huge hit! It was so hard to keep people from these until after the cake cutting!
I just have to say, I LOVE Canadians! They are just so sweet and kind, and they have some fun wedding traditions. A few traditions I want to use again: using 2 MC's that they knew. Instead of having the DJ (Jaron from Audio Innovations! You are amazing) announce things, they had two super close family members announce things, and they were so very entertaining! Another tradition was that instead of the glass clinking that we do here, they have guests come up and sing a little to the bride and the groom to get them to kiss. It was SO much fun, and I was surprised at how many people came up to sing! Needless to say there were many newlywed kisses :)
One thing that makes me feel the love from my clients is when they give me a seat at their wedding. Although I can't really sit long, it just shows the appreciation and makes me feel like one of their friends/family. AND the food was AMAZING!
Next, the toasts. They were so touching and had everyone in tears. These are the kind of weddings that you can tell that everyone is just so close, full of love. This shows a lot about the couple.
Now for a dress change for the reception! I mean what lady doesn't want to have 2 wedding dresses? :)
And the first dance . . .
Jaron from Audio Innovations rocked the night away, the dance floor was so full all night long. SO.MUCH.FUN
They even got the bride and groom up on chairs! What a party:)
{And that, my dears, is a perfect wedding}
Congrats Jenny and Ali, you two are just so sweet and I can tell this will be an amazing, lasting marriage :)
The vendors:
{A sweet review from the bride}
"Working with Tamara for our wedding on June 16th, 2012 was AMAZING!! She was so helpful with creative ideas throughout the entire process and was great communicating with me anytime I had questions or needed ideas. On the day of the wedding, she was so professional, fun, hard working and extremely organized. I would 100% recommend Tamara to all future brides, you will be so happy to have her be a part of your big day!"
Thanks lady!
