~Vintage Picnic Styled Engagement Session by SBTN (me!) and photographed by Simply Sonja Photography~

I have been super excited to share this styled shoot of real couple Lindsay and Jason.

My good friend and talented wedding photographer Simply Sonja Photography and I teamed up for this "Vintage Love Birds" picnic e-session.

Thanks to the oh-so-talented Honey Crumb Cake Studio for the cake (YUM!) and to Vintage Ambiance for the fun treasures. . .

Meet the love birds: Lindsey and Jason.
When Sonja came to me for this shoot I had no idea that I actually knew Lindsey! Lol we both went to the same middle school and high school, what a small world!
When styling this session, I told them to wear relaxed vintage type clothing, and sent my inspiration board to them. They nailed it perfectly!

This shoot took place under an amazing tree at Discovery Park (funny enough this is the same location my husband and I had our engagement shoot!) Such a fun spot!

Aren't these chairs amazing?! Vintage Ambiance has some great items, love this shot!
We knew we wanted BIG balloons, thanks Sonja for picking them up!!!

Flowers: I had picked up a few bundles of flowers that morning from the local farmer's market in Issaquah.  LOVE the bright hues!
Honey Crumb Cake Studio and her adorable cake!

The "story" was that Jason had a secret picnic planned for Lindsey . . .

He gave her flowers, and led her to the spot!

Peek!

(Aren't her eyes just gorgeous?!)

I made the "Love Birds" letters, and we used a stick that we found to hold them:
Then we made it down the street to the beach . . .

So cute, right?!

Congrats to the lovely couple . . . who actually just got married a few weeks ago now!!!

~Print Your Wedding!~

Happy Monday ya'll!!!

I am finally slowly getting caught up in life, business and everything else since my crazy wedding season is coming to a slowing speed. I mean weddings every weekend since May has been SO fun but leaves little time for blog posts, and pretty much anything else!

Anywho on to a big and important topic in weddings . . . photography and prints.  I see SO many brides these days spend a TON of moolah on photography, but then not order one print or book or anything.  Yes they have the digital images to put up on FB, but what about a lovely print or book to display your BIG DAY in your home?

I think this is huge:)

If you can't afford a book, at least order a big print to frame OR get a canvas print.
There are so many companies out there on-line that you can order these from for cheap!
One I have used recently is Printcopia . . . great prices, fast service and delivery of a great product!

I am currently going through ALL of the photography of this year's weddings, and want to pick my top 5 pics to print for my office on canvas prints. SUCH a hard choice but I am super excited!!!

Anywho here's my latest:

Thoughts?  If you are married, do you have a wedding book, prints or canvases in your home from your big day???

~Wedding Planner in Action~

Gooood morning everyone, hope you are enjoying your weekend!
It sure feel like fall now, I am so ready to cuddle up in sweaters, boots and enjoy my coffee:)

AND what fall means to a wedding planner: we get all of our summer wedding photography back from the talented photographers we worked with all summer.

YAY!

While browsing through them
(trust me I will post each and every glorious wedding on here soon once weddings slow down!)
I found some fun gems of me in action.

Kinda fun, thanks photogs!

Note: I do not look fabulous after 10 hours of running around. Don't judge, I bust my booty and get all sweaty.  Because it's not about me at all, it's about my amazing couple's and making their day perfection!

At Liz and Kaushik's wedding ceremony at Fairview Park in Seattle.  What a perfect day!

Pinning on the boutonnieres that I made:)

I don't know what this face is, but I am obviously intently watching the ceremony, awww! Lol

THIS is of myself and the amazing team from Red Filter Photography.  We know how to rock a wedding.  Photobooth by Blink Photobooth. From Sarah and Simon's wedding at Maritime Event Center this summer.

From Holly and Matt's wedding at the gorgeous Arctic Club Hotel.
Showing them how it's done;)
Thanks Affinity Photography yet again!

Photobooth by Van Whye Photography with my super duper fun couple Stephanie and Eric.
They were just too much fun

Ha! Sneaking out some decor elements to deck out Kaylee and Saer's getaway car! ;)
Thanks Barbie Hull Photography!

I do have way to much fun!

Enjoy your weekend:)
